12 Sep Windsor Half Marathon 2011
CRASH has again been chosen to benefit from the annual Windsor Half Marathon, which takes place this year on 25th September. As before, CRASH will share the charity proceeds from this popular autumn event with the Prince Philip Trust. Golden Bond entries are now open and are available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Renowned for its exquisite setting, no other half marathon can match the breathtaking route around Windsor Great Park. It is the ultimate challenge for anyone looking to get fit and raise much needed donations for CRASH.
WHAT IS A GOLDEN BOND?
A limited number of places are reserved for Golden Bond runners, once general entry into the race has closed. Golden Bond places cost £140 and give you entry into the race, access to the Golden Bond marquee where the CRASH team will be ready to welcome you and hand out refreshments, plus it’s a place to relax throughout the day.
Every penny of your Golden Bond entrance fee will benefit CRASH and the Prince Philip Trust, the two chosen charities for the event. It is therefore the best way of supporting CRASH and the homelessness projects we help.
There is a limited number of Golden Bond places available so please don’t miss out on your chance to be involved. Simply visit www.runwindsor.com to enter.
CAN I RAISE SPONSORSHIP TO COVER MY ENTRY FEE?
Yes!
Why not ask colleagues, friends and family to sponsor you. Ten donations of £14.00 each will cover your Golden Bond place and any additional sponsorship you raise in aid of CRASH will all go towards helping homeless men and women rebuild their lives.
HOW DO I ENTER?
Visit www.runwindsor.com and pick CRASH as your chosen charity when submitting your Golden Bond entry.
Entrants include a strong contingent of runners from the construction and property sector, who will once again be vying for the CRASH Challenge trophy, won last year by Balfour Beatty.
“This is a vital fund raiser for us,” says Kate Marsh, who is in charge of the charity’s fundraising events and promotions. “It always attracts a great response from the construction industry so we introduced the CRASH Challenge trophy to add that extra bit of excitement and inter-company rivalry to the event.”
