The Wisley Flower Show

The RHS Garden Wisley Flower Show, one of the most spectacular of the late summer calendar events at RHS Garden Wisley, returns once more between 8 – 11 September 2011 with its village-style collection of stalls and displays. This must-see event promises to provide a great day out for gardeners of all levels and abilities.

Running over four days for the first time, each day opening at 9am, this flower show promises to be better than ever.

“It’s a gorgeous, friendly show that attracts the best UK nurseries, showcasing an array of fantastic plants,” said Rosy Hardy, of Hardy’s Cottage Garden Plants, 16-time RHS Chelsea Flower Show gold-medal winner.

“It is that which makes us come back year on year to exhibit. Quality exudes from every part of this show, from the type of plants on sale to the world-class setting of RHS Garden Wisley.”

The depth and breadth of the range of plants on sale combine well with an impressive exhibit by the National Association of Flower Arranging Societies. Under the theme of ‘Enchanted Isle’, the NAFAS displays will burst with colour and spark the imagination.

“The Wisley Flower Show is a much more intimate show compared to its Chelsea and Hampton Court Palace counterparts, and yet it still brings together the top specialist nurseries from up and down the country,” said Jim Gardiner, RHS Director of Horticulture.

Nurseries and trade stands

Some 40 nurseries and garden trade stands, many of which are Chelsea orHampton Court Palace Flower Show gold medal winners, will be showcasing their top quality plants and garden sundries.
